Jon Ensign, horseman and friend, suffered an injury in mid-July to his left knee. The resulting injury required immediate surgery to reset his dislocated knee and to replace 2 of the primary ligaments. Jon will be required to undergo a second operation later this fall to replace the remaining ligament in the same knee. Due to the extensive soft tissue damage, Jon’s physicians estimate he will be unable to return to his normal activities until sometime next year.
Thankfully, with time and a lot of rehab, Jon should make a full recovery. Jon is currently on crutches, undergoing physical therapy and experiencing the thrill of being able to drive to daily doctor appointments.
As a member of the horse community, we would like to invite you to a benefit fundraiser for Jon. If you have not had the opportunity to meet Jon, please feel free to check out his website (jonensign.com). If you have been fortunate enough to have had Jon work with you and your horse, you will know what an asset Jon is to our horse community.
We would love for you to come help support Jon and have a night of fun. There will be a silent auction, plenty of food, demonstrations and more.
